Hi, Jim,
Enjoy the radio show experience. Good point to make, which I’m sure you will, is that heart disease is more lifestyle than genes. Another point to bring up is ‘metabolic syndrome’ which is indicated by a combination of risk factors……..that can lead to heart disease, stroke, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes. i.e., someone I know has extremely low cholesterol (in the 130’s), very low LDL (50’s), BUT high triglycerides, low HDL, and obesity on BMI scale. Some would only look at low chol and LDL number and think they’re just fine. Not so. Putting all those numbers together is a prescription for disaster.
Hope to catch the show; if not tomorrow then afterward. Good luck and break a leg!!!
