This is the fourth in a series of six posts featuring my colleague, Dr. Michael Greger, who is in the process of following through with his commitment to publish a new video for the first 365 days of his new site. While traveling this week, I pulled together a few of the most provocative videos that he has published so far.
Here is one (about 4 minutes) about a recent study by Dr. William Clifford Roberts, head of the Baylor University Cardiology Institute, about the single cause of atherosclerosis and the “blinding flash of the obvious” solution.
As pointed out in the video, Dr. Roberts has published 1387 scientific papers, has authored over a dozen textbooks, and has been the editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Cardiology for twenty-five years.
From the nutritionfacts.org website: Michael Greger, M.D., is a physician, author, and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues. A founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Greger is licensed as a general practitioner specializing in clinical nutrition. Currently he serves as the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at the Humane Society of the United States. Dr. Greger is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Agriculture and the Tufts University School of Medicine.
