While our food choices are crucial, we must also begin urgently addressing overpopulation, a global economy that is wrecking the planet, and the fossil fuel consumption driven by all three.

I believe that my topic addresses  the most important issue in the history of humanity. After all, what could be more important to humans than our future as a species?

Since publishing my first book in 2011, I have spoken at colleges, junior high schools, civic organizations and health conferences in Connecticut, Canada, Massachusetts, Florida, California, Texas, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, Arizona, Kentucky, Italy, Colorado and at the Harvard Club in New York City.
